Canadian Tire sells Maxim, lots of companies sell Grey, Proto, Challenger,S-K Wayne and probably lots of others. I have an SK set I got 35 years ago, and the only sockets different is the one I lost, and yes they have been on an impact a few times. I have a Proto 1/4 inch drive set, the plastic that holds the sockets is shot, but the tools are like new. We do most of our engine-repair work on the farm so the tools are not for show. I have a few snap-on tools mainly because they were the only source of some specialty tools. There is lots of competition now, check your local jobber for a catologue. |
