Default Retired and ready to do "stuff"

Hello everyone.

I am looking forward to trying out all kinds of new stuff now that I am retired. I got a router for Christmas. I think I want to try candle making. I've always liked to cook...but not as much as I like to garden and BUILD things. I especially like to build things for the garden. Built an arbor last year.
I am not sure what I will find on this site but will explore!!!

GRRrrumman.

Default Welcome to both of us

Hey there GrummanTiger! I am also new to the forum. Have you given up on the flying passion? You're not going to be one of those people to build an airplane in the basement and then take it apart to get it out are you. Flying is a great hobby also.

I look forward to the communications.

Skipper
Actually more of a Piper Person, but always admired the Grummans. Great looking airplanes!!!

Default Miss my (wife's) Grumman

Actually was my wife's Grumman. She sold it and now has a Piper Warrior. I preferred the Grumman. I recognized the SOUND of the plane as it flew over our house and could WAVE to her! Now...sounds like every other plane.
