When i took it down to the cobblers, he seemed surprised it was genuine and advised us to get it insured. I cannot find it on the internet anywhere and I was wondering if anyone can help me with it's value. or maybe even a site with the watch on it. Also, I can't seem to set the minute hand to move when i try set it but the hours hand does. The minutes hand doesn't seem to be broken though as it does move (as minutes pass) sadly my crummy digital camera cannot focus well enough to get a good photo, it looks very similar to this watch ( http://www.antiquewatchcouk.com/omega/omegaseablabraxx4.jpg ) but the most distinctive difference seems to be '6''9' and '12' are represented by three thin bars. The writing on the clock face is identical apart from it says Quartz instead of Automatic also, in case this helps; it is written on a booklet accompanying the watch he was given it in 1982, (retirement i think) Thanks a lot |
