i know this is a little of topic but i posted dis question on da cellphone section and i got no answers!! and i really need help from anyone thats why i put it on da gay section cause i think gay people give good advice=) cause most of my friends at school are gay and they always give me good advice when i need help with something thats why i love gay people...

i know its kinda long but please take da time to read it caused i really need help please help me out....

ok so i have da blackberry storm which i love .. and i live in california but rite now im in puerto rico. and before i left i went to da verizon store and talked to very nice lady nameed ''jenny'' and i asked o u kno im going to puerto rico. and she said o no problemo!! puerto rico is part of da usa so ur phone is gunna work perfectly fine. just like if u were here in cali and u will not be charged for roaming .. so know im here and i am soooo pissed off cause my phone says no service and everytime i try to make a call it says call failed... when i got to da airport yesterday in san juan puerto rico my phone said roaming on the screen and i was like WTF?? da lady told me i wasnt gunna get charged for roaming ... and i called my mom over here to cali and when i put the number and i put call i got a message on the screen saying roaming charges will apply would you like to continue. so i thought o well and i went tru with da call. but now im in my aunts house cause i came to visit her... which is right on the city in san juan and now i have no service i got signal on da airport but not over here. =(.. and its really really frustating that i even when out to downtown and i still could not find service i have restarted my phone and everything n i still get noo service.. my mom has t-mobile and hers works fine.. o also over here there is no verizon...? theres only att ,sprint, claro and t-mobile... so i kinda think thats why my verizon phone is not working at all.. i have asked people if there was had ever been a verizon here in puerto rico and they said that in 2007 verizon got bought out by sum spanish company called claro.. and thats why they have no verizon in puerto rico so what should i do???? please i really need some help cause i really need my phone to make calls... any thing i would really aprreciate it. thanks ..... also i gunna be staying here in puerto rico for 2 weeks!!! so i really need my phone to work

that's how bad us american's are with our technology.
i mean you are in a beautiful country, with beautiful people, and waters...and the only thing you are worried about is your cell phone. ignore your phone and just enjoy your trip over there. :}
