| | Hi, I just found this great service where you can order your own blood test. I ordered a men's health panel for $125 and got my results quick. I am male, 40 something, in excellent health, non drinker, non smoker, popping the occasional oxy, and I'm currently taking a nutrition class at the college. My nutrition was recently evaluated as excellent, with all DRI's met from the diet, over 200% of my DRI of iron. I exercise about 8 hours per week regularly with yoga, volleyball, and biking. My results are all within range except for these: white blood cells: 4.0 k / uL (ideal range 4.0 - 11.0) red blood cells: 4.23 m /uL (ideal range 4.30 - 5.70) Hemoglobin 13.1 g / dL (ideal range 13.7 - 16.7) Hematocrit 38.3 % (ideal range 40.0 - 50.0) So I thought, check iron. Dietary iron was good, now blood iron results: All good. iron 94 ug / dL (ideal range 35-190) total iron binding capacity 300 ug / dL (ideal range 230-430) iron saturation 31 % (ideal range 20-55) What does this mean? What should I do next? Thank you for reading my post. |

It is not body fat, so it can not be burned off, but it can be flushed out, basically by taking a supplement. http://nogimp.newwellbeing.info has a risk free offer available right now, I gave it a whirl and shed 17 pounds!! Who says there's no magic bullet? LOL!!! |

A doctor would probably tell you everything is okay since you're very close to the normal ranges but you might ask him to test your testosterone level. I have noticed when I take injections of testosterone my white and red blood cell counts go up also. You can also raise the hematocrits some by drinking more liquids or keeping your body hydrated. Actually you appear to be healthy. |
