It is a Showtime, but it was on one of the main channels with first season reruns last year. Do you think they'll continue to do that?

During the writers strike earlier this year, TV stations were filling in gaps in schedules with programs from premiums channels like HBO and Showtime. That's why we were seeing cable programs on over the air channels, I doubt we'll be seeing Dexter over the air again,

I read somewhere that CBS has no plans to air the second season of Dexter. It seems that Showtime wants people to flock to their pay cable channel to watch the third season, so why compete with themselves?

I wouldn't be surprised if CBS eventually runs it, but, if they do, it would probably be far down the road. A better bet is just to rent the second season DVDs now from NetFlix or Blockbuster.
