Should I be buying the Recommended Computer Recommended Computer Specifications for the Visual Communications Major Software( photoshop, illustrator,etc) ?

or So I hold off and wait a little to see what my professors want?
Do I need a Cable/DSL Internet connection if I have wireless built in my computer?
Any other computer recommendation??

PS: I have a MACbook Pro

Do not waste your time and money at FIDM. It's basically an expensive trade school.
