The "Best" camera for you is whatever you're comfortable using and has the features you want, which you didn't specify. The Best SLR cameras overall, with the most capabilities and features would be the Nikon D1x/D2x/D3 range, the Canon 1D/1Ds/5D, and some high-end Fuji and Sigma digital SLRs. Nikon and Canon are the most popular and reviewed. |

You'll lose image resolution just by switching to a "digital" format. Does that make any sense? "Film" photography is still king in the professional world of photography. Good luck! |
